This is a RCM teacher training and is only available for RCM 2 certified students.

It is a intellectual demanding training and it costs at least 200 study hours. 50% online, 50% homework. It is:

• rigorous and uncompromising
• time-extensive
• mentally challenging
• high on standards and expectations

It implies:

• no shortcuts
• no superficial understanding
• active participation required
• mistakes are challenged and corrected.

You must show you are able to explain and coach Level 1 and level 2 students. This means Level 2 knowledge + experience is only a start. You must have a higher comfortable level of competence to be able to answer all kind of questions from Level 1 and Level 2 students.

Didactic skills refer to the ability to transfer knowledge effectively in a structured, clear and understandable way.

They describe how a subject is taught, not what is taught.

Didactic skills include:

• structuring complex information,
• explaining concepts at the appropriate level,
• selecting suitable examples,
• checking understanding,
• and adapting explanations to the audience.
